Interesting fact… Glencadam 14 Year Old Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish whisky spells its name whisky as it originates in Scotland. Had it been produced in America its name would be Glencadam 14 Year Old Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish whiskey, instead of whisky.

A tremendous dram! Nose: Vanilla, malt and oak-spice, with a lovely hint of clean sherry. No imperfections from the sherry maturation.
Taste: Smooth, sweet and spicy. Malt and sweet vanilla in a balanced fusion with dried and fresh fruits. Long finish.

The sherry is very well married into the nose and palate. It's a really a shame that in the palate there is ultra sharp barley or oak. I tried with water, but there is still huge sharpness. A bit mentholly finish.
