A 28 year old bottled at cask strength. An official bottling released in 2003. A great Glen Ord, lots of spicy, fruity notes.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
The nose is spirity with a fresh greenness. Notes of menthol and eucalypt with a touch of fennel and fruitcake. A touch of dry stemmy grass with notes of cereal sweetness. The palate is of full-body with good sweetness. Notes of caramel soften the blow with a touch more herbal greenness. Notes of beeswax and a touch of honey. The finish is full of barley and cereal with a little allspice and caramel.
