This Glen Moray was distilled in September 1986 and bottled in December 2011. It was matured in a Bourbon Hogshead which produced 211 bottles.
Some chocolate orange notes with butterscotch and caramel. Very slight waxyness.
Some baked fruits - apples and pears. There are honey notes too, with salted caramels and nutmeg.
A long, quite spicy finish.
Another great dram from this range, best without water.

Rich, sweet aroma, deep oak. Full bodied taste, thick, silky and rich. Very moreish! Real complex mouthful, with a lovely after-taste, warm, with definite dried fruits. Similar to Highland Park.
