Distilled at Glen Keith (not Strathisla as originally believed) on 4th April 1973, Craigduff was an experimental peated malt. Matured for a staggering 40 years in a refill sherry butt, this release was bottled by Signatory on its birthday in 2013 with an outturn of 616.
Woody peat and red apples come through, creamy acacia honey, ginger.
Caramelised apples catching, heather beeswax and hints of clove.
Savoury smoked barley.
Intriguing and delicious.
