Nose: A rich nose with plenty of stewed fruit, malt and spice. Notes of custard, hints of peat smoke, oak, a little citrus in the form of Seville orange marmalade.
Palate: Peppery and fruity. Hints of cocoa, malt and toffee, a little manuka honey. Spices, cider, toasty oak, toasted bread.
Finish: Good length and very peppery/spicy. Wisps of smoke on the tail.
