Single Malt
Scotland
1 Jan 2001

Part of a release of just 340 bottles, distilled on the 27th June 2001 and bottled on 28th June 2006. Glen Douglas is distilled at the Loch Lomond distillery.
The nose is light and fresh. There are notes of juicy fruits with apples and a soft Madeira note. There are notes of cut hay and a barley sugar juiciness with sweet cereals and manuka honey. The palate is medium-bodied and quite smooth. The barley sugars and manuka honey develop with a strong malty note and a chewy oak. There is a gentle cut herb note. The finish is of good length and oaky.
