Whisky or Whiskey

What's in a name? Glen Albyn 26 Year Old 1975 - Rare Malts whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Glen Albyn 26 Year Old 1975 - Rare Malts whiskey, rather than whisky.

Glen Albyn 1975 Bottling Note

A cask strength bottling from the now closed Glen Albyn distillery, distilled in 1975 and bottled at 26 years old in 2001.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

The nose is quite light and fresh. There are some green notes with a lovely barley sweetness, stemmy cut hay and warm countryside air. The palate is smooth and well-balanced. There are notes of peels and mixed dried fruits. The cereal sweetness is rich and full and there are notes of barley sugar and vanilla fudge. The finish is spiced and peppery with a creamy texture.
