Four Roses 2012 Bottling Note

A staggering bourbon from Four Roses, this is made by the Master Distiller who hand-selects four whiskeys from the company's ten different recipes and creates Small Batch. These bourbons are aged for between 11 and 17 years and are married at cask-strength before bottling. This 2012 edition is truly magnificent.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Vanilla custard and hints of orange rind. Candied peels, cigar leaves and a little allspice.

Palate: Potpourri mixed with brandy butter. Orange peel, manuka honey, creamy caramel and cocoa.

Finish: Soft notes of custard apples and wood spices. Pipe tobacco and hints of cinnamon.
