A great premium blend from Famous Grouse. The 12 year old Gold Reserve features a higher proportion of malt whiskies from top distilleries like Highland Park and the Macallan.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Rich and malty leading to lime, toffee and raisin.

Palate: Cox apples and caramel leading to walnut and coffee cake.

Finish: Long and complex, it seems some of the more famous elements of this blend shine through here.

Overall: A blend from a classic producer featuring some top class malts.

this is one of the best whiskies i have ever tasted,and believe me i have tasted a few,but i am not an expert by any means,i just know that i like the flavour,smooth with a warm kickback, superb.

This is the ONLY whisky I can say is GREAT! But....it is very hard to find on the store shelves in England or in Florida. PLEASE direct me to the places so I can purchase when desired; which is NOW! Thanks!
