Nose: The nose offers up notes of Black Forest honey, heather, hints of marzipan, buttery toffee, cocoa, marmalade and cut hay. Very fragrant.
Palate: A rich, tangy palate of grapefruit zest, golden syrup, cranberries, bilberries, salty butter and camphor. Soft, supple hints of peat smoke and juicy barley.
Finish: The finish is long and oily with dark chocolate liqueur cherries and salt caramel.
Overall: Staggeringly rich - a real beast of a blend!
