One of the first releases from Discovery Road, the range of "new world" whiskies chosen by whisky writer Dominic Roskrow. Discovery Road Four Lions is an English single malt whisky taken from the maturing stocks at St. George's Distillery. Dominic Roskrow, St George's distiller David Fitt and Whisky Tasting Club members Tony Bagnall and Pat Barrow are the four lions that this expression was named after, as they were the ones that chose the four 50 litre casks that make up this release.

A hot & spicy banana & vanilla malt shake with a touch of mulled cider & ginger on the palate with lots of toasted vanilla & sappy new oak but a bit too sharp and adolescent for me.
