In 2011 Dalmore announced the return of the Cigar Malt to replace the Gran Reserva that replaced the original cigar malt, and this is the original cigar malt! A piece of whisky history.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Hoyo de Monterrey cedar cigar box notes with classic Dalmore toffee, rich red fruits, port and leather.
Palate
Fairly light body with toast and tobacco spice notes.
Finish
Rich with dense tobacco leaf notes, but with a soft sherried conclusion.
Overall
An aptly named whisky, lots of big tobacco notes to match a variety of cigars.
