What's in a name? Dalmore 1980 whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Dalmore 1980 whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Fruity. Walnut, peanut, big sherry, bittersweet, citrus rinds, sultana, Nutella. Palate: Good body, intensity with waves of honey, toffee and a cornucopia of nuttiness. Chocolate, rich stone fruits. Finish: Long, incredible heat to the spices, good lingering toffee notes.
