Distilled at Dailuaine in Speyside in 1997, matured in cask number 8476 (a Bodega Sherry European Oak Cask) and bottled at cask strength in 2009. A release of 564 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Big and tangy. Lots of spice and fruit, particular ripe apple and tart citrus. Exotic spices, a touch of smoke.

Palate: Complex, dense with notes of sherry - sweet grape, banana cake, ginger and pepper, hints of caramel.

Finish: Gentle warmth, good length with notes of cool wood smoke, oily, fruity and quite spicy.
