Single Malt
Scotland
1 Jan 1993

A Speyside single malt, bottled by Gordon and MacPhail as part of their Connoisseur's Choice range, this 1993 vintage from the Dailuaine distillery has been matured in refill sherry hogsheads.
The nose offers a malty richness with cereal notes and sugared barley. There are notes of bruised fruit and old calvados with feinty hints of heather roots and cigar humidor sweetness. The palate is of medium-body with notes of winter spice and floral hints. There is an herbal quality with fennel and pollen. The finish is long with spice and tannic oak and a healthy dose of malted barley on the tail.
