What's in a name? Cutty Sark 18 Year Old whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Cutty Sark 18 Year Old whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Well-balanced, refined. Sherried peels. Barley, hints of smoke, peat. Fruitcake. Spices.
Palate: Vanilla, dark brown sugar, rum spice. Sherry.
Finish: Long, fruitcake, buttery, fudge, oak.
Nevertheless one of my favourite late night libations:))
