Whisky or Whiskey
What's in a name? Craigellachie 17 Year Old 1995 (cask 10052) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Craigellachie 17 Year Old 1995 (cask 10052) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing) whiskey, rather than whisky.
Craigellachie 17YO DL OP
A single cask release of Craigellachie single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 1995, which was before the distillery was sold to Bacardi in 1998. A piece of history, for sure! It spent 17 years maturing in a sherry cask before being cracked open and bottled by Douglas Laing for their Old Particular range.
