Cragganmore 25 Year Old 1985 - Rare Auld (Duncan Taylor)
A 25 year old Cragganmore distilled in December 1985, aged in cask 2407 and bottled by Duncan Taylor for their Rare Auld range in November 2011. A release of 223 numbered bottles at natural cask strength.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Hints of lemon peel, rhubarb and custard sweets, porridge oats with warm honey, soft malt and cut hay.
Palate
Zesty and rich, spiced notes of aniseed, grapefruit zest, black pepper and some fresh coriander.
Finish
A long, fresh finish with boiled sweets and cough drops.
