This is a twenty-three year old Clynelish bottled by independent bottler Duncan Taylor for their Dimensions range.
Clynelish is distilled in the town of Brora where the famous Brora whisky was distilled until 1983.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Coastal and oily at first but then a waxy fruity quality emerges with barley sweets and light spice.
Palate
Notes of green apples and bananas with hints of barley and sweet peat smoke.
Finish
Long and with notes of citrus zest, Acacia honey, salt and beach bonfire smoke.
