Whisky or Whiskey

What's in a name? Caperdonich 40 Year Old 1968 - Peerless (Duncan Taylor) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Caperdonich 40 Year Old 1968 - Peerless (Duncan Taylor) whiskey, rather than whisky.

Caperdonich 40 Bottling Note

Aged for a whopping 40 years, this Caperdonich is an incredible whisky from Duncan Taylor's Peerless range. Each whisky in the range is aged for at least 40 years in the vaults of the distilleries where they were produced. Because of the extended ageing period, there is very little whisky left in the casks, so these whiskies are extremely rare.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Soft malt and gentle floral notes, pine, dark honey, allspice.

Palate: Rounded honey/buttery palate entry which develops with cooked banana, hints of cocoa and cinnamon. A little vanilla.

Finish: Brandy butter, sweet spices, honey.
