Caperdonich 38 10cl Bottling Note

A very well aged bottle of Caperdonich, or sample should we say! An excellent chance to try 38 year old single cask Caperdonich, this was distilled in 1970 and matured in cask number 4378 before bottling in 2008 by Adelphi. A release of 184 bottles, at cask strength.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Fruity, musty and rich. Lots of fruit, tropical, like coconut, pomegranate, then apple and citrus.

Palate: Oily and rich, almost minty with cool plumes of smoke. Coastal, smoky, viscous.

Finish: Oily, smoky, good length, anise.
