This is a nineteen year old Caol Ila from The Cooper's Choice range bottled at 46% abv. Caol Ila is a peated malt whisky with a coastal character.
This Bourbon cask Caol Ila offers up briny peat with floral heather lain on a bed of vanilla. The palate gives more menthol like flavours with some sandy sea shore notes as well. The finish long with phenolic peat and sweet honey.
