Interesting fact… Caol Ila 12 Year Old (Alchemist) whisky spells its name whisky as it originates in Scotland. Had it been produced in America its name would be Caol Ila 12 Year Old (Alchemist) whiskey, instead of whisky.

I dont know what they have done differently here, but this Caol Ila has a Bruichladdich like spritz to it - but with phenolic peat to match, and some smoked fish to end. A lovely, clean Islay. Out of stock and havent seen it too many other places though...
