A 12 year old Islay malt from the Caol Ila distillery. This was bottled for the exceptional new Alchemist range.
I dont know what they have done differently here, but this Caol Ila has a Bruichladdich like spritz to it - but with phenolic peat to match, and some smoked fish to end. A lovely, clean Islay. Out of stock and havent seen it too many other places though...
