Whisky or Whiskey

What's in a name? Cameronbridge 33 Year Old 1978 - Rare Auld (Duncan Taylor) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Cameronbridge 33 Year Old 1978 - Rare Auld (Duncan Taylor) whiskey, rather than whisky.
