What's in a name? Wemyss Sandy Seaweed 1997 (Bunnahabhain) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Wemyss Sandy Seaweed 1997 (Bunnahabhain) whiskey, rather than whisky.
Quite literally a nose of sandy seaweed but with some peat and brine to match. The palate has a minerality to it with phenolic top notes which lead to a long salty finish.
