Bunnahabhain 22 Rare Auld Bottling Note

This was distilled at Bunnahabhain in September 1988, it was aged for 22 years in cask 2356 before bottling by Duncan Taylor's Rare Auld series in August of 2011. A cask strength release of 237 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: A meaty, slightly smoky nose with hints of the coast. Pertains to toffee, with damsons, cold coffee, a little caramel and malt.

Palate: Spicy and rich, some coffee, a little toffee apple, hints of smoke, spice and salty butter. A suggestion of hot pancakes.

Finish: Good length with hints of plums and smoked ham.
