Nose: This Laddie kicks off with a spoonful of Greek honey, then a bouquet of flowers opens up until finally a wave of sea water crashes over the side of the glass.
Palate: Immensely honeyed and smooth with additional notes of rose water and orange liqueur.
Finish: Sweet and salty, a hint of orange oils.
Overall: Bruichladdich know how to play with cask finishes and this is no exception. The Bordeaux sweet wine cask gives this Laddie a syrupy sweetness that just keeps on developing when the glass is left to sit for an hour or so.
