Interesting fact… Port Charlotte PC7 whisky spells its name whisky as it originates in Scotland. Had it been produced in America its name would be Port Charlotte PC7 whiskey, instead of whisky.
Nose: Perfumed, spirity. Warmth, spice, pluming smoke. Calvados and coffee liqueur, oak at the back.
Palate: Rich, punchy, apple crumble, esters. Powerful peat smoke, salty butter.
Finish: Long, smoky, peat and spice.
Aroma is rubber and campfire smoke, as promised. Palate is smoke with butterscotch, but a touch sour.

Found this at my local store and all around excellent islay, great smoke. Definitely worth it if you can find it.
