What's in a name? Bruichladdich Infinity (2nd Release) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Bruichladdich Infinity (2nd Release) whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Creamy, fresh citrus, stewed fruits, dark sugar. Hay, almond, slightly coastal.
Palate: Medium body. Faint medicinal hum, sweetness, syrupy. Perfumy, Madeira.
Finish: Vanilla, spices, gentle smoke.
I've found Bruichladdich to be subtle and understated with a lot of their Whisky's. This one is no different. Very smooth on entry, sweet lingering finish. Overall I believe Bruichladdich to be a trailblazer with all of their releases and I wish I could buy them all. This is another one you shouldn't pass up when given the oppportunity.
