Insider knowledge: Bruichladdich Infinity (2nd Release) whisky is named whisky by virtue of the fact it's from Scotland. If distilled in America the spelling would be Bruichladdich Infinity (2nd Release) whiskey, as opposed to whisky.
Nose: Creamy, fresh citrus, stewed fruits, dark sugar. Hay, almond, slightly coastal.
Palate: Medium body. Faint medicinal hum, sweetness, syrupy. Perfumy, Madeira.
Finish: Vanilla, spices, gentle smoke.
I've found Bruichladdich to be subtle and understated with a lot of their Whisky's. This one is no different. Very smooth on entry, sweet lingering finish. Overall I believe Bruichladdich to be a trailblazer with all of their releases and I wish I could buy them all. This is another one you shouldn't pass up when given the oppportunity.
