This is a delicious 1997 vintage from the Brackla distillery, aged in refill sherry casks before bottling for Gordon and MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice range. This is a light, aperitif-style malt.
Toasted, oaky nose with hints of honey and toffee apples. Allspice, cranberries and vanilla.
Sweet, creamy palate with cooked berry fruit, allspice and sherry.
Soft, sherried finish. Lemon cheesecake and spice.
A very malty, light-bodied whisky from Brackla.
