Bowmore 35 1970 Bottling Note

An absolutely stunningly packaged Bowmore distilled on the 24th September 1970, aged in sherry butt 4687 and bottled at natural cask strength for Signatory's Cask Strength Collection on the 15th June 2006. A release of just 445 numbered bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Intense smoke and spice, cinnamon and nutmeg, iodine, black treacle and a whiff of creosote.

Palate: A rich, rounded palate with chocolate malt and muscular, oily wood smoke. A touch of grist, tar and pepper.

Finish: Long, spiced and slightly minty finish, with more of that oily smoke from the palate.
