Bowmore 25 Old and Rare Bottling Note

Distilled in March 1983 at the Bowmore distillery, this was aged for 25 years in a single cask before bottling at natural cask strength in August 2008 for the Old and Rare Platinum selection.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Citrussy, Valencia orange peels, cocoa, peppermint, aniseed and black pepper. Sticking plasters, sweetness.

Palate: Supple and rounded as it hits the palate with notes of thick smoke, toffee apple, dark peat. Oily too.F
