What's in a name? Bowmore 16 Year Old 1989 whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Bowmore 16 Year Old 1989 whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Clean, fresh and aromatic. Floral, stemmy. Tropical fruits as the peat creeps in, a touch of iodine. Coastal, buttery, treacle.
Palate: Perfumed, delicate. The botrytis, floral.
Finish: Long, spicy oak.
Very nice smooth taste and a pitty when the bottle is empty
