Cask strength Bowmore, this was distilled in 1991, and aged solely in port pipes. A release of 18,000 bottles.

This stuff is incredible!! Perhaps the perfect balance between dark forest fruits and just enough peat and smoke to back it up going into a very nice cherry - chocalate finish. This also becomes better when the bottle is opened for a few weeks. Stunning taste and just needs a couple of drops of water to open up a bit more.
Best during the cold months of the year; luckily I have a 4th bottle waiting for the next winter!!
At the moment just the most exciting whisky I ever tasted ( from about 100 single malts ).
