A 1993 'vintage' from the Gordon and MacPhail Connoisseur's Choice range and a delightful example of why this Eastern Highland distillery, Blair Athol, does not receive the credit it deserves.

Blair Athol 1993 Tasting Note

The nose is fresh and crisp. A gentle pear cider and apple peel with lush fruit. It is all very creamy with a very delicate oak and discernible purity. The palate is of medium-body with more apple, some faint herbal notes rise. The finish is long, gentle esters develop and barley sugar.
