What's in a name? Bladnoch 9 Year old 2002 - Distillery Label (55.70%) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Bladnoch 9 Year old 2002 - Distillery Label (55.70%) whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Barley, fresh cut hay and vanilla with a hint of spice.
Palate: Honey and barley sweets with nutmeg and cinnamon.
Finish: Reasonably long with notes of mead and spice.
Overall: A great showing from the re-imagined Bladnoch.
