Distilled on the 19th December 1990, and aged in hogshead 5767 for 20 years. Just imagine a 20 year old single cask, cask strength whisky from the distillery, at this price. Good heavens!
Cut hay and various other summery aromas. Notes of fresh flowers, citrus and sticking plasters, with some beautiful malty sweetness.
Big and spicy with notes of ginger, pepper and golden syrup. Cedar wood and oak, a little tobacco sweetness also.
Decent length with notes of clove-studded oranges, syrup and toffee.
Very smooth and lots of honey and with a few drops of water its a real winner! it's a "must-have".
