The entry level bottling from Benromach, traditional is mostly matured in bourbon, with around 1/5 of the spirit being matured in sherry. This comes with two blenders glasses to help you taste.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Pine oils, fresh. Sweetness, nutty, smoky. Stem ginger, bog myrtle, acacia honey.
Palate
Floral, grassy. Heather and hedgerow berries. Buttery, spicy.
Finish
Quite sweet, tannic. Citrus notes, a tad more stem ginger, zesty.
