Benromach Latitude 53 Bottling Note

This is part of a release of three special single cask bottlings which commemorate the association of Benromach and the Glasgow: Scotland with Style Clipper which participated in the Clipper 08-08 Round the World Yacht Race. This represents Liverpool at the 53rd line of latitude.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sherried raisins, and dark peat. Whirls of smoke, bittersweet oak and marmalade. Very aromatic.
Palate: Thick, full-bodied. Sherried and oily. More marmalade, sugared peels, delightful bitter sweetness.
Finish: Sublime. Oranges, sugared peels with building smoke and spice.
