    Benriach 23 Year Old 1985 - Cask Strength Collection (Signatory Bottling)

    This was distilled at the Benriach distillery in Speyside on the 30th September 1985, matured for 23 years in a single bourbon barrel (cask number 208) before bottling on the 15th September 2009. Part of a release of 208 individually numbered decanter bottles, bottled by Signatory.

    Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

    Citrussy, tropical fruits, vanilla, cut grassy, hay, oak, ginger.

    Palate

    Rich and fruity with lots of tangy citrus, sweetness, custard and an oily, spiciness. Lemon sponge cake too?

    Finish

    Long and thick with chocolate orange.
