A 26 year old vintage from the Benriach distillery, distilled in 1978 and matured in Cask No. 1589, an ex sherry hogshead, before being bottled in December of 2004 at cask strength.

Nose
Sweetness. Manuka honey, comfiture d’abricot.
Palate
Thick. Well-restrained sweetness. Exotic fruit. A touch of grenadine develops. Boiled sweets.
Finish
Creamy. Oily, nutty and punchy.
