Highland Single Malt 12 Years and Under - 2014
World Whiskies Awards
What's in a name? Balblair 2003 - 1st Release whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Balblair 2003 - 1st Release whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Bright aromas of delicate flowers, light citrus blossom and a trickle of honey.
Palate: Oranges and lemons, fresh and fruity. More honey? Yes indeed!
Finish: A fairly spicy finish.
Overall: Classic Balblair brilliance.
