Whisky or Whiskey

What's in a name? Lowland 10 Year Old (ScottishPower) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Lowland 10 Year Old (ScottishPower) whiskey, rather than whisky.

Lowland 10 Scottish Bottling Note

This is a delicious and rather interesting little Lowland malt. It was distilled at the Auchentoshan distillery before a 10 year maturation. It was then specially selected and bottled for ScottishPower.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Malty, creamy nose with hints of orange blossom honey and allspice.

Palate: Simple, creamy and malty palate entry with notes of acacia honey and nutmeg. Hints of toffee apple.

Finish: Apple peel and pepper on the finish.

Overall: Light and very drinkable.
