Nose: Not quite what one expects. There is a grassy, countryside quality with grape, but one bereft of the botrytis.
Palate: Thick mouthfeel, a good helping of spice and sherried sultana. Spirity oak clings most vigorously.
Finish: Clean and crisp, however, some honeyed overtones make an appearance.
Overall: Spice and sultana keeps the oak in its place.
