A 20 year old from Ardmore, this was distilled on the 26th February 1990, and aged in a wine treated barrel (cask number 30118) before bottling by Signatory at cask strength on the 7th April 2010. A release of 355 bottles, all individually numbered.
Mineralic, oily and big on raw, savoury, muscular peat smoke. Hints of damp grass, tarragon and spices.
Huge on the palate with big citrusy peat attack, youthful spices, peppery.
Long oily and peaty finish. Citrus fruits.
