Interesting fact… Amrut Single Malt Cask Strength Whisky spells its name whisky as it originates in India. Had it been produced in America its name would be Amrut Single Malt Cask Strength Whiskey, instead of whisky.
Nose: Biscuity, fruity, fig-rolls, herbal, Werther's Originals, almost pepperminty.Palate: Biscuit and fruit, citrus, malt perks up now, slightly tarry, toffee.Finish: Apricot, spicy, blackcurrant tea. Sweetness.Overall: Very good, full bodied stuff!

This whisky is beautiful; you only drink a bottom of a glass and you are all satisfied. It is so rich, just the right amount of peat (a tiny bit) slightly sweeter than regular malts and a medium oak taste. Just right
