What's in a name? Aberlour a'Bunadh Batch 32 whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Aberlour a'Bunadh Batch 32 whiskey, rather than whisky.
Ach, maybe it's just me and, given a blind tasting, I might not be able to tell the difference between 32 and 33. However, the 32 gets my vote. If you want a big flavour hitter this is just fantastic. Don't get conned with Christmas pud and dry fruit comments, this a serious whisky with loads more than just strength and sherry. Give it a wee rest with a tad of water and you have a flavour explosion.
