Interesting fact… Aberlour a'Bunadh Batch 26 whisky spells its name whisky as it originates in Scotland. Had it been produced in America its name would be Aberlour a'Bunadh Batch 26 whiskey, instead of whisky.
Nose: Rich, fruity. So much character, buttery biscuits, sherry, mince pices, marmalade.
Palate: Full, sherried. Mixed peels, pastries, berry fruits, buttery crumble.
Finish: Long, spicy, sweet honey and fruit.
Certainly the best batch I've sampled and I've tried a few. The smoothness and raisin sweetness marked it out.
