Interesting fact… Aberlour 15 Year Old whisky spells its name whisky as it originates in Scotland. Had it been produced in America its name would be Aberlour 15 Year Old whiskey, instead of whisky.
Nose: Grassy, with a charming oily, nutty texture. Gentle peat but with good sweetness.
Palate: Nutty, creamy sherry and cinnamon.
Finish: Toffee led, long, buttery finish, just a whisper of smoke.
Overall: Superb balance.
Let this sit for about 5 mins after pouring and you are in for a treat.
